MVP Nurse is a nationwide competition celebrating heroes who heal us all, while raising critical funds for American Nurses Foundation. Competitors compete for a grand prize valued at $2,500.
How do I vote?▼
You can vote two ways: (1) Cast one Free Daily Vote every 24 hours, verified through Facebook to prevent bot activity, or (2) Donate to cast additional votes — every $1 = 1 extra vote. Donations are tax-deductible.
Why does voting require Facebook?▼
Facebook verification helps us prevent fraudulent voting activity from bots and automated software, keeping voting fair for all competitors. Facebook is only used to verify eligibility for the free daily vote — we do not sell or share voter information.
Are donations tax deductible?▼
Yes! Every vote by donation is a direct donation to our 501(c)(3) charity partner and is deductible for federal income tax purposes. Donors receive a receipt via email.
Can I vote for myself?▼
You may use your Free Daily Vote for yourself. However, competitors are not permitted to submit votes by donation for themselves — this is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
How often can I vote?▼
You can cast your Free Daily Vote once every 24 hours, and you can cast votes by donation for your favorite competitor at any time while voting is open.
Are donation votes refundable?▼
No. We have a strict no-refund policy. Since winners are decided based on public votes, we do not issue refunds once a vote has been processed.
How do groups work?▼
Each competitor is randomly assigned a group at the beginning of the competition. During each round, competitors only compete against others within their same group.
How is my personal information kept secure?▼
We take your privacy seriously. Our website uses encrypted connections (SSL), regular security scans, and secure systems designed to protect personal information. Access to sensitive information is limited to authorized personnel only.
